Introducing the SDCW 2026 North County Hub: The Sea House in Encinitas

San Diego Climate Week (SDCW) is coming to North County, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce our partnership with The Sea House in Encinitas as our official North County Hub for SDCW 2026 happening October 1–8.

The Sea House is the home of Sea Trees, a community space where ocean restoration, storytelling, science, surf, art, and culture come together. It’s a place built for films, workshops, exhibitions, dinners, and conversations that inspire action for the ocean, and it’s the perfect home base for Climate Week in North County.

A Gallery Worth Seeing

During SDCW, The Sea House will showcase a wall of original art as part of our SDCW Art Gallery. Featuring submissions from our Art Contest and Youth Art Contest, including pieces from local 3rd–5th graders, every work was created around this year’s theme: UNITY. Come see how our community, from seasoned artists to young climate leaders, interprets what unity means for our planet and our people. There’s dedicated time to see the artwork on October 1st, October 5th, and October 8th from Noon-4PM.

Your North County Home Base

The Sea House is opening its doors all week long as a space for events, gatherings, and connection. Stop by to view the art gallery, catch one of the many events hosted there throughout the week, see our live SDCW calendar streaming on their screens, and simply be in community with fellow climate-minded neighbors. Whether you’re stopping in for five minutes or staying for an event, The Sea House is your home base for SDCW in North County.
